Booking terms, refund policy and code of conduct

Key dates

1. Booking and payment

1.1A deposit of A$500 per person secures one of six places on the trip. Places are allocated in order of deposit received.

1.2The total price is A$4,990 per person. The remaining balance of A$4,490 is due 30 days after your deposit is received, and no later than 17 January 2027, whichever is earlier.

1.3If the balance is not received by the due date, Offsider Travel Co. will give 7 days' written notice. If payment is still not received, the place is released and the deposit is not refunded.

1.4All prices are in Australian dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card processing fees are borne by Offsider Travel Co.

2. Minimum numbers

2.1This trip requires a minimum of five paying guests to proceed.

2.2If five paying guests are not confirmed by 18 December 2026, the trip will be cancelled and all monies paid, including deposits, will be refunded in full.

2.3Offsider Travel Co. will notify all guests in writing of the outcome on or before 18 December 2026.

3. Cancellation by you

3.1On or before 18 December 2026 — cancel for any reason and receive a full refund of all monies paid, including your deposit. Notice must be given in writing.

3.2After 18 December 2026 — no refund is available, in whole or in part. This applies to the deposit and to the balance, whether or not the balance has been paid at the time of cancellation.

3.3Clause 3.2 applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, injury, change of circumstances, work commitments, roster changes, or inability to travel. By this date, accommodation, activities and supplier commitments have been paid for on your behalf and are not recoverable.

3.4A guest who cancels after 18 December 2026 and later wishes to travel on a future Offsider trip may, at Offsider's sole discretion, be offered a credit. This is a discretionary gesture and not an entitlement.

4. Transfer of your place

4.1You may transfer your place to another person up to 60 days before departure (by 17 January 2027), subject to written approval from Offsider Travel Co.

4.2Approval is at Offsider's discretion. The incoming guest must speak with Sean Thomsen before the transfer is confirmed and must accept these terms in full.

4.3Any supplier costs arising from the name change are payable by you.

5. Cancellation or change by us

5.1If Offsider Travel Co. cancels the trip for any reason — including illness, injury or incapacity of the host, insufficient numbers, or circumstances beyond our control — all monies paid will be refunded in full, including deposits.

5.2Clause 5.1 applies at any point before departure, including in the final weeks.

5.3Refunds under this clause will be processed within 14 days of notification, to the original payment method.

5.4Our liability under this clause is limited to a refund of monies paid to Offsider Travel Co. We are not liable for any other costs you have incurred, including flights, travel insurance, visas, vaccinations, time off work, or other bookings.

5.5The itinerary is indicative. Activities, suppliers, venues and the order of days may change due to weather, supplier availability, or operational circumstances. We will provide a comparable alternative where reasonably possible. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund.

6. What is included

• Seven nights' accommodation in Chaweng, Koh Samui, in your own private room
• Return airport transfers between Koh Samui Airport and the accommodation
• Three group dinners — food only
• A private island-hopping boat day, including lunch
• Eighteen holes of golf, including cart and caddie
• A go-kart session
• Transport for scheduled group activities
• Hosting by Sean Thomsen throughout the trip

7. What is not included

• Flights to and from Koh Samui
• All alcohol and all drinks, including at the three included dinners
• Travel insurance
• Visas, passport costs and any entry requirements
• Meals other than the three included group dinners
• Golf club hire
• Optional activities and anything arranged during free time
• Personal spending, tips and incidentals
• Airport transfers other than the scheduled group transfers

8. Travel insurance

8.1Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is entirely your own responsibility.

8.2Offsider Travel Co. does not arrange, provide, recommend or verify travel insurance.

8.3You travel uninsured at your own risk. Offsider Travel Co. accepts no liability for any loss, medical expense, evacuation cost, cancellation cost or other expense that would ordinarily be covered by travel insurance.

8.4If you intend to ride a motorbike or scooter, be aware that most standard travel insurance policies exclude this unless specifically added. Check your policy.

9. Your responsibilities

9.1You are responsible for holding a valid passport with sufficient validity, and for meeting all entry requirements for Thailand. Visa and entry rules change — verify them at official Thai government sources before you travel.

9.2You are responsible for your own health, fitness and wellbeing, and for disclosing any medical condition, dietary requirement or accessibility need that may affect your participation, before departure.

9.3You are responsible for your own belongings throughout the trip.

9.4You must be 18 years or older at the time of travel.

9.5You participate in all activities at your own risk.

10. Code of Conduct

All guests agree to the following. It will be issued again with your welcome pack.

10.1Treat other guests, staff, suppliers and locals with respect. This is a small group in close quarters for a week. Everyone's trip matters equally.

10.2No aggressive, threatening, intimidating or violent behaviour, at any time, toward anyone.

10.3No bullying, harassment, or targeting of another guest — including sexual harassment, unwanted attention, or pressuring anyone into any activity.

10.4No behaviour that puts yourself or others at risk, including through excessive alcohol consumption.

10.5No illegal activity. Thai law applies, and drug offences in Thailand carry severe penalties.

10.6Be where you said you'd be. If you're skipping a scheduled activity, tell the host.

10.7Respect the accommodation and the venues we use. Any damage you cause is payable by you.

Breach of this Code

10.8Offsider Travel Co. may, at its sole discretion, remove a guest from any activity or from the remainder of the trip for breach of this Code.

10.9A guest removed under clause 10.8 forfeits all monies paid and receives no refund for any unused portion of the trip.

10.10A removed guest is responsible for their own accommodation, transport and repatriation costs from that point onward.

10.11Offsider Travel Co. may decline a booking, or cancel a confirmed booking with a full refund, where it reasonably believes a guest is not suited to a small-group trip.

11. Health, safety and medical

11.1Offsider Travel Co. is not a medical provider and cannot provide medical care.

11.2In a medical emergency, we will assist in accessing local services. All costs are your responsibility.

11.3Activities including boating, swimming, snorkelling, go-karting and golf carry inherent risks. You accept these risks by participating.

12. Privacy

12.1We collect your name, contact details and information relevant to your booking, in order to operate the trip and to comply with supplier requirements.

12.2Your details are shared with suppliers — accommodation, transport, activity operators — only as required to deliver the trip.

12.3We do not sell or share your details for marketing by third parties.

12.4You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

13. Liability

13.1Offsider Travel Co. acts as the organiser and host of this trip. Accommodation, transport and activities are delivered by independent third-party suppliers.

13.2To the extent permitted by law, Offsider Travel Co. is not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence or default of any third-party supplier.

13.3Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees.

13.4Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid to Offsider Travel Co.

14. General

14.1These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia.

14.2By paying a deposit you confirm you have read, understood and accepted these terms and the Code of Conduct.

14.3These terms may be updated before bookings open. The version in force at the time of your deposit is the version that applies to you.
